Simplicity Chaise Lounge in Cowhide. The Simplicity Chaise Longue was originally designed for a wellness spa in Cape Town, simplicity of form and detail is intended to help create a sense of stillness in our otherwise busy lives. The use of eco friendly indigenous game skins and Nguni hides, gives the upholstered pieces a luxurious African feel, and subtly references the classic 1920's chaise by Le Corbusier.

The Weightless Collection is an exercise in the ecological principal of maximum resource efficiency. The use of durable, lightweight recycled stainless steel frames and laminated plywood (reconstituted zebrano & pine) seats were inspired by the revolutionary Eames chairs of the 1940's. The triangulated criss-cross frames simultaneously refers to South African wirework sculptures and windmills found in the Karoo.
